The title itself probably says a lot doesn't it? We are bankrupt without love, and sometimes a national deficit increases because love is the farthest thing from anyone's minds. With a poor worldwide economy the focus of everything seems to be all about money. It's all about how to get the numbers back in line, when the reality is that it's the leaders who need to gain congruency. The media is full of all the problems surrounding the national deficit, to include all the differing opinions about how to get the money prospering again. It's the thinking that is the source of the problem, it appears as though it's the same line of thinking that got US here in the first place.
Life is all about relationships, and that includes businesses and government, yet business and government have made it out to be far too much about money. The money itself gives businesses and government the direction, (it says right on it; in God we trust), yet they stray far from the foundation set by our forefathers. Matthew 6:33 says ; But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Notice it does not say to seek out God as a last resort. How many leaders do you think actually take the time to pray together before they begin their daily quarrelling? Do you think congress invites the wisdom of God to manifest itself before they get into their "agenda's"? Perhaps a few individuals, but as a whole they lack unity.
Leaders have got things backwards, upside down, out of order, out of sync, and out of whack. It's a deficiency of wise leadership that continues to dig the national deficit hole. How can you love the people when you are stuck on the money? Consider what would happen if they could alter their lines of thinking and actually put the people first. If the people have jobs, the people have incomes, if the people have incomes, they have money to support their families. If they have money to support their families, they have money to actually purchase things they need. When they purchase things they need, the businesses begin to come back and so does the economy. It's the people who go to the stores, hello? Why give money to the businesses when the businesses will only take it to the bank? Why take tax payers money and throw it into the wind? Stimulate the people, (relationship), and that will stimulate the economy, not visa versa. Take care of your customers and your customers will take care of you. Who are the tax paying customers? Love the people, put the people first, help the people to recover, for without the people the mother ships will only sink. It's not the big businesses that matter, they were a huge part of the problem to begin with, greed only breeds more greed. Big business is not the answer, it's the families, the small businesses that matter
If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don't love, I've gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I'm bankrupt without love. (1 Corinthians 13:3-7). See that, no matter what is done, without love it's bankrupt. How can the government love the people by loving the money? Pardon me here, but sometimes you just have to call it as you see it, it's ass backwards! The people do not need wishy washy politicians, they need leaders who have their best interests at heart. Have you noticed this difference between politicians and leaders, you won't get a clear answer to a question that you pose to a politician, they are too busy politicizing. Proverbs 15:14 says; The mind of the intelligent seeks knowledge, But the mouth of fools feeds on folly. Good leaders will make mistakes, but at least they decide which way they are going to turn before they enter an intersection. Undecided people are poor drivers, and they can be very dangerous to everyone.
Leaders will have otherness mindsets, they will show love by the ways they care about the people, not by the hot air they spew, or the money they use to get themselves elected. Money may be able to buy the office of president, but money does not make a politician a leader. Proverbs 17:16 says; Of what use is money in the hand of a fool, since he has no desire to get wisdom? What good is a leader who does not love or does make love his highest agenda? Proverbs 20:28 says; Love and faithfulness keep a king safe; through love his throne is made secure. Whoot there it is! Money may have bought a throne temporarily, but only through love will it be secure.
Proverbs 23:23 supplies sound advice for everyone, (including leaders); Buy truth, and do not sell it, Get wisdom and instruction and understanding. Who knows, perhaps a leader will read this article and acquire wisdom through humility, and then make a decision that renders love in the lives of people in America. Until then, America is bankrupt without love. "A wise man will hear and increase in learning, and a man of understanding will acquire wise counsel." (Proverbs 1:5). The mind of the prudent acquires knowledge, And the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. (Proverbs 18:15).
