How much does it really take to bring you to a point where you’ve had enough to change the pace? When you’re tired of just enough, when you have had enough to break out, break through, and access change in your life? There comes a point when you get tired of feeling the pressures, when you’ve had enough of the squeeze that you’re feeling all around you. When you feel as if the juice was being pressed out of you. When you’re sick and tired of the unrest going on in your life, it’s time to change the pace.
You come to a critical moment when the complaint counter no longer works, and the whining is only met by swiss cheese. It’s a place where you have accumulated clutter, old hats, old thoughts, old patterns, and old ways that you allow to hold you at bay. It’s not what your circumstances say that matter, it’s when you’ve had enough of what they are saying that matter. When you have had enough of the situation dictating to you, you will no longer be dictated to by the situation, because you will change the pace.
Before you can get clear on the outside, you must first get clear on the inside. This requires a change of diet, a change of thinking, which will change your choices, and thus change your outcomes. You have got to come to a moment where you draw your sword and slash those old thoughts that have been holding you back. Those thoughts that say it’s never going to get better, that your marriage can’t be reconciled, or your finances won’t change. Slash those thoughts that say that you will never amount to anything, or that your not good enough. It’s those kinds of thoughts that are cluttering your perception with fear and doubt. Bad things happen to good people, but it’s not over until the fat lady sings! And as my mom used to tell me, "I haven’t sang yet".
There is light at the end of the tunnel, it’s an exit point where you are about to break out into a new change of pace. It’s that critical moment when you transition in your mind, where you let go of all the things that you have allowed to hold you back. It’s a time when you rise up from within, you get up, you get out, and you move forward. It’s when you say I’m done with accepting lack, I’m done with accepting less than enough, I’m done with allowing the pressures to control my emotions, my choices, and my actions. It’s when you say, stop it, just quit it, get out of here with that weak stuff!
Your second wind is awaiting you, beautiful weather is coming, you only need to go out and access it. Shut up, shut down, and shut off negative thought mannerisms or those old memory tapes that say "oh no, it’s happening to me again." It’s not what is happening to you, fasten your seat belt, it’s what is happening for you, you ain’t seen nothin yet! Start looking for openings, change your pace, refresh your outlook, be aware of the new things God is doing in and around you. Remember the formal things, those tight spots where you had been in previously. You made it through before, and you will make it through now, you only need to believe it. Your inner turbulence will change when you decide to rise above it, and then all the outer stuff will follow into alignment.
The change you need is not from the place called "I give up", it’s from a pace called "turning this ship around". It’s when you’ve had enough to stand up, speak up, speak out, and stand out over the circumstances and situations. When you as the captain of your ship, pull up that old rusty anchor and set a course of overcoming determination. When you tell that pessimist on your shoulder to go take a flying leap. When you break forth, break loose, and break free of your own personal constraints. That’s right, you just need to adjust your attitude, change your longitude, and refocus your behavior to change the pace.
There is a Chinese proverb that says; When your done being sick and tired, you will no longer be sick and tired. When you get fed up with being fed up, you liberate yourself. When you cast off the chains that people have put on you, those thoughts of inadequacy, disapproval, and rejection. When you have had enough of perceiving yourself as powerless, fruitless, and helpless. When you let go of the fear of this happening and that happening, and realize that it’s the fear, coupled with those old personal judgment scripts playing within you that disable you, your going to say; "I’ve had enough, it’s time for a change of pace. You give those old hats the boot, and kick them to the curb!
There is a pace of release to peace within you, and an attitude called just do it. It’s the area within you that you let go of the fear of risk, the fear of failure, the fear of what others might think or say, and the fear of your own success. Think about this; when you go walking up a flight of stairs, do you stop at each stair and wonder if you can make it up to the next one? No you don’t, you just do it! That is an easy change of pace. You rise up to a new level, changing the pace one step at a time. Rise up, you already have more than enough, you just don’t know it……..yet. However you will, when you get up, overcome it, and change your pace!
